Who made what.
Several names appear on this site: alphaPlan, alphaPlan Center, Code for Albania, American Corners, the U.S. Department of State, Code.X, Code.org. This page says, once and in plain words, who did what. Every badge, credit and footer on the site points here.

Who we are
alphaPlan Center is the organisation: a non-governmental organisation registered in Tirana as a centre, co-founded in 2019 by Admir Malaj, Aleksander Bello and Ori Hoxha. alphaPlan is the platform you are reading. Code for Albania is the programme both grew from, a three-year computer-science and design-thinking journey for high-school students run together with Code.X, and it continues.
Every lesson on this site was written for the web, in both languages, by people, drawing on the programmes below. This site was built and is maintained by gammaPlan Software Solutions.

Where each course comes from
Four of the five courses grew out of workshops hosted by the American Corners network in Albania, and they wear the same American Corners mark. They do not all have the same funder, and that is why the mark alone is not the whole story:
- Cybersecurity
- U.S. Department of State project, hosted by American Corners. This is the one course that carries the funder's disclaimer, below.
- Programming in a Data World
- Developed from programs delivered in partnership with the American Corners network
- Future of Mobile Development
- Developed from programs delivered in partnership with the American Corners network
- Data Structures, Algorithms & the Web
- Developed from programs delivered in partnership with the American Corners network
- How Computers & the Internet Work
- alphaPlan Center's own. It grew out of our earlier robotics and AI programme, which had no outside funder.
Why only one? The U.S. Department of State funded one project, “U.S. Cybersecurity Leadership in AI for Albania”, and its disclaimer names that project. The cybersecurity course was built from it, so the disclaimer travels with that course and with every printed sheet, workshop or drill derived from it. The other three courses came from programmes the American Corners network hosted without that grant, so they carry the partnership acknowledgment and nothing more. Putting the funder's text on work the funder did not pay for would be as wrong as leaving it off work it did.

The funder's disclaimer
The cybersecurity programme materials carry the following disclaimer, reproduced word for word in both original languages. It must travel unchanged with any cybersecurity material you copy from this site.

What is alphaPlan Center's own
Three things carry no outside credit because none is due: the “How computers and the internet work” course, which grew out of our robotics and AI programme; ART-IN, our creative-technology day; and our Hour of Code activities, which are our own participation in a worldwide campaign (next section).

Hour of Code and Code.org
Hour of Code is Code.org's campaign, not ours. We take part in it every year with four unplugged activities we wrote ourselves. Code.org asks everyone who uses the name to say so plainly:

The educational material is published under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0: use it, teach with it, translate it, credit alphaPlan, never sell it, share your version under the same terms. The names and logos, the Hour of Code mark and the funder's disclaimer are not part of that grant. The software that runs the site is all rights reserved.
